The museum provides an easy-to-understand introduction to the island’s history, rich natural environment, and local culture through its exhibits. Materials related to Okinawa Prefecture and Kumejima are available for viewing, making it a convenient resource for research and study.

Located on the shore of Yamato-domari on Kume Island, these are strange rock formations created by wind and tidal erosion. Legend has it that women who are unable to conceive will be blessed with children if they pray before these rocks.

"Banta" means "cliff," and there is an observation deck at the top of the cliff.
It offers a spectacular view of Hatenohama Beach, as well as Aguni Island, Tonaki Island, and the Kerama Islands.

Chura Fukugi is a 40-meter-long avenue of Fukugi trees lining the center of a prefectural road that runs through the Majya settlement on Kume Island.
