Nago Cycling

Located in the East Coast region of Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture, this seaside farmers’ market is operated by 10 local communities that have pooled their resources to promote a rich local lifestyle and revitalize the area.

As part of the Okinawa Main Island Comprehensive River Development Project, this 66.5-meter-high rock-fill dam was constructed approximately 3.1 km upstream from the mouth of the Haneji River to regulate flooding, maintain the normal flow of the river, and supply water for irrigation and public water systems.
