Cross the short bridge and you’ll find yourself on Okushima. It’s a small island with a circumference of 1.7 kilometers. On sunny days, the sea sparkles emerald green, and the island is filled with the smiles of children.

"Minami no Eki Yaese" offers a wide selection of attractive products, including fresh vegetables from Yaese, folk crafts, and Okinawan souvenirs, as well as domestic and international seasonings that enhance the flavor of local vegetables and fruits, and items that are exclusive to this store.

Development is underway, centered on the site of the former tree-planting festival, to restore the greenery lost during the last war and create a place where people can connect with nature, find solace in it, learn from it, and renew their commitment to peace.

This cape features sheer cliffs rising 10 to 20 meters high, and marks the boundary between the Pacific Ocean and the East China Sea. A lighthouse and an observation deck stand atop the cliffs, offering views of the "Kyan Coast and Arasaki Coast"—a nationally designated Scenic Spot and Natural Monument—as well as the vast, azure ocean.

The Itoman City Product Center is packed with souvenirs unique to Itoman, as well as Okinawan sweets and handicrafts; the Farmers Market Itoman, JA Okinawa’s first direct-sales outlet aimed at promoting local production for local consumption; and the Itoman Fisheries Cooperative Fish Center, where you can purchase fresh seafood caught both within and outside the city—all of Itoman’s famous products from the sea and mountains are gathered in one place.
