You can enjoy a variety of activities in the spacious facility, which offers a panoramic view of Chinen’s beautiful ocean.

"Minami no Eki Yaese" offers a wide selection of attractive products, including fresh vegetables from Yaese, folk crafts, and Okinawan souvenirs, as well as domestic and international seasonings that enhance the flavor of local vegetables and fruits, and items that are exclusive to this store.

The vast park, spanning approximately 40 hectares, is home to the National Okinawa War Memorial Cemetery as well as memorial towers and monuments representing each prefecture. This is a place to pay respects to those who lost their lives in the war, and visitors can gain a deeper appreciation for the value of peace through the Foundation of Peace, the Peace Memorial Hall, and the Peace Memorial Museum.

The Himeyuri Tower is a memorial dedicated to the female students who served as nurses when U.S. forces landed during World War II. An attached museum uses photo panels and historical footage to provide insight into what the war was like.

The Itoman City Product Center is packed with souvenirs unique to Itoman, as well as Okinawan sweets and handicrafts; the Farmers Market Itoman, JA Okinawa’s first direct-sales outlet aimed at promoting local production for local consumption; and the Itoman Fisheries Cooperative Fish Center, where you can purchase fresh seafood caught both within and outside the city—all of Itoman’s famous products from the sea and mountains are gathered in one place.
